Welcome to the Presbyterian Medical Services Foundation website. We are dedicated to Presbyterian Medical Services’ mission to build a healthier New Mexico by providing healthcare, children’s education services, behavioral health services, supportive living, hospice care and developmental disabilities programs at 82 sites in 38 community locations throughout New Mexico.
Since its founding in 1969 and the establishment of the Cuba and Questa Health Centers in 1970, Presbyterian Medical Services has been dedicated to a continuum of care for the multi-cultural people of the Southwest regardless of their ability to pay. Many of our patients commute long distances from remote areas and under adverse conditions to access health care and many of them are in great need. In fact, in 2007:
In other words, we care for New Mexico’s families in need.
Why We Need Your Help
Because we provide services regardless of the patient’s ability to pay, we have great need for contributions to fund operations and programs. The Foundation raises funds through annual giving, major gifts and planned giving programs as well as special events. It also develops relationships with community leaders, businesses and organizations and creates funding partnerships with national and regional foundations and corporations. We rely on contributions to provide comprehensive healthcare, education and human services to the multi-cultural people of the Southwest.
Mission
The mission of Presbyterian Medical Services is to design and deliver quality, accessible, integrated health, education and human services in response to identified community needs of the multi-cultural people of the Southwest. The Foundation is committed to providing leadership and raising funds to support this mission.
